These Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose Phthalate Capsules are enteric-coated to delay the release of the ingredients until the capsule has passed through the stomach. This helps prevent the ingredients from being destroyed or becoming inactive by stomach acids. It helps to dissolve the ingredients over time in order to be released slower and steadier into the bloodstream.

These HPMC capsules are produced using Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose which is obtained from wood pulp and processed in facilities located in the United States and Europe. The wood pulp is derived from softwood trees species including Pine (Mediterranean pine or southern pine) and Spruce.  The capsules are free of food enzymes and gelatin.
